I’ve stayed here twice now and had the same room both times. The room is very nice and spacious.
The check in and welcome was good.
Breakfast was a bit of a let down this time though. Service was very slow and my Eggs Benedict was served cold and I didn’t have time to send it back for another.
The evening bar service was good and the guy behind the bar was good for a chat.
Great location for visiting the outlet shopping centre nearby too. It’s only a few minutes walk.
Overall a good place to stay.
We stay very often in this hotel. The reason is not only that it is an old prison, but the staff. Always friendly with a smile, service excellent. The breakfast is absolutly top. Many thanks to all the people working there
I stayed 2 nights with friends in this great hotel and we loved it; we will go back for sure; If I have to critic sth, then it is the fact that it took too long to be served for breakfast & in the bar when food/drinks were ordered-we had to remind the waiters several times.
It was my second stay and I really enjoyed it. A perfect location with a extraordinary style. Comfort and service are great. The restaurant is probably the best one I know. The staff really cares about you.

There is also a small gym en sauna in the hotel.
We loved our stay at Het Arresthuis. What a unique and fun place to stay. Rooms are clean and modern. Service was exemplary. We highly recommend you stay here.
Great value for money in terms of comfort and hotel service, cool and unusual ambiance. The restaurant is amazing and totally worth a Michelin star. The only thing to complain about is the service at breakfast: it was somewhat disorganized and hectic. We had to ask several times for coffee and repeat what we wanted to three different stuff members before we got what we needed.
There is a gap between bed and where headboard supposed to be so, my pillow keeps sliding backwards.
